HG Kauai Joint Venture, LLC (HG Kauai), was formed in 2013 to acquire approximately 160 acres of land on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. Located near the town of Kapa’a along Kauai’s East coast, the property overlooks both the town and the ocean. It is situated within minutes of the beach, airport, and many local attractions.
The property, which is a scarce commodity in this small island community, has been master planned into two zones—a large-lot agricultural zone, and a single and multi-family lot urban zone named HoKua Place. The agricultural zone consists of 63 acres that have been planned for 16 three-acre home sites and is home to an operating solar farm. HoKua Place consists of 96 acres that have been planned for 86 single-family lots along with more than 600 multi-family units.
Roche is focused on developing the property to offer much-needed residential housing to the people of Kauai. He and his team are working closely with the local government to ensure the project benefits the community.
