The mission of the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) is to develop strong, pragmatic and principled national security and defense policies. Building on the expertise and experience of its staff and advisors, CNAS engages policymakers, experts, and the public with innovative, fact-based research, ideas, and analysis to shape and elevate the national security debate. As a member on the CNAS Board of Directors, Robert Roche actively contributes to the development and execution of the organization's intellectual agenda. He has participated in the Center's discussions related to national security issues, such as the future of defense requirements and Asia-Pacific security.
